Dear piano families,
Thank you for allowing me to have the privilege of teaching your child music and being a part of your child and your family’s lives! It has been such a joy to work with each child in their own way and strengths.
As a friendly reminder, there will be no lessons from December 23 until January 5. You are still welcome to email or text me if you have any concerns that come up during that time but the studio will be closed otherwise. I will see everyone back for piano lessons starting on Monday, January 6. Here are some memorable times from the last few months. I hope this can add more joy to the holiday season as you enjoy your time with your families!
Musically,
Belinda Juang
Studio Winter Recitals Pictures
Thank you to those of you who were able to participate in the studio recital! I know that playing in public can be very nerve-racking, so I am very proud of how everyone was able to handle their nervousness and be able to show off their skills and pieces!
Thank you also to those of you who also put aside time to communicate with me about your child’s needs. When you share how practice is going at home, it helps shape weekly piano lessons to better support home practice. I appreciate all that you parents do to support your child’s piano education!

Student Achievements
In the studio, I kept track of the first 40 pieces learned by each student to celebrate that milestone with them. I did not get a chance to take a picture for every student with their 40 Pieces Certificate, but I wanted to congratulate Charlotte (pictured here), Matthew, and Abby for learning their first 40 pieces since joining the studio! Well done!

Congratulations also to Nathan for passing RCM Level 3 Practical exams with a First Class Honors!

The other 2 students pictured here are Violet and Audrey, who played in the Halloween-themed MTNA Studio Festival in October. This was the first time for both students to play publicly in an event with students outside of Belinda’s Piano Studio. Congratulations to Audrey for being one of the adjudicator’s choices!
Kenan (not pictured) also participated in the CAPMT Young Artist Competition. Congratulations to Kenan for securing 2nd place in his division level!
